November 26, 2011 Calendar notes: A shout out to my favorite peeps who have made this holiday very memorable.. I am excited about how this year is going to end and the new one to begin! Countdown: I am working on a new website, new images, new promotions, and new everything.. it has been a busy week and I am on the verge on getting things ready for December. Wanna shoot?? Let me know! There is the fun that comes with the shopping for the holidays... and with the amazing shoppers that I have as fans and the friends that I get to shop for... I think that I have found some stores that exceed in customer service. Bebe has always been a great one as they walk your bag out to you and take that extra time to make your outfit your own. Sephora to me is hit or miss... I have had some great experiences there and then the one that was soo rushed and inpersonal.. I felt like I was at a bank and just a number. Walgreens is always amaazing.. I seem to have the manager in at every time that I go and he is the nicest guy. My tanning salon.. .. same thing.. great customer service. Online. I would have to say Shiro Cosmetics, Victorias Secret, nost of the vendors on Etsy and then Sephora online. I also am working on some new themes for this new site that I will be releasing soon.. we have been working on concepts, layouts, and of course.. what locales. So.. a call out for the photogs who are in the Atlanta area.. looking forward to making some new images! I will be shooting some in December and January 2012 this will include two road trips to SC, NC, and TN..., please email me for available dates!~! These will be limited engagements due to scheduling. And for those who asked about that other theme... yes I am shooting that and will be releasing some of those shots.. soon :) stay tuned :) November 13, 2011 Calendar notes: Getting back into the swing of things after the medical hiatus. New changes and new beginnings! November has flown by and I am working on the new concept for the new website. I also wanted to share that one of my favorite artists Nicole Brune has also released her new site. Follow her on twitter and facebook! I have been doing some major cleaning and restructuring. I am working on some amazing projects. I am glad to be able to work some amazing talent and staging for these. I wanted to also thank everyone who has been there through some of these hard time with relatives in for surgeries and treatments. It has been a scheduling challenge. So bear with me as I am trying to get all of the dates and times in. Holiday parties are always fun and exciting. They invite the best and brightest out in people .. making it hard to find that perfect outfit! I have found that I have some amazing shopping friends who are getting me in touch with some great designers! Thank you very much for letting me be able to preview their creations for film and events! A very special thank you to Angela my amazing stylist for by Breast Cancer Awareness pink streaks :) Love them! I am excited about the new month and the new challenges that I have coming. There are quite a few photogs that I am going to be able to work with. I have to thank those who have been soo patient with my crazy scheduling. Fall cleaning? I guess that goes to the spring cleaning on trying to be organized .. so out come the labelers, sheet protectors, and then also the fall shopping for the new wardrobe. I love the new lines from Express, Bebe, Too Faced, Juicy Couture, and more. There are the endeless possibilities. And for those who have been bitten by the Karma bug, sorry. it will come around to those who deserve it. October 5, 2011 Calendar notes: Getting back into the swing of things after the medical hiatus. Presentation is everything.. and with that.. make every day the show stopper! I wish that some people would realize that every day as they make an impression! Whether it be god or bad, you know that when you wake uo and get dressed for the day.. it is showtime! Make it perfect and make people notice. :) October is breast cancer awareness month.. I think that every month should be awarenss month as I know several survivors. Angela and I are doing pink glitter tattoos for the month.. I am giving a portion of my proceeds to the local charity. Please email me for more information. Around two years ago.. I lost my home... it was to the 09 floods.. It flooded my house and caught on fire.. It was one of the scariest days of my life.. even two years later when I hear we might be getting inches of rain. I wonder if things will ever get back to normal. I know I have a core of people who helped in the recovery of personal items and my sanity. Don't forget to donate to charity. You never know when you will be the one who needs it. We have lost an icon tonight with the passing of Steve Jobs from Apple. He was inventive, creative, and a visionary beyond his time. I wish his family well as he battled an incurable cancer. I have found some new stores to shop after my recent visit to SC. I love Badd Kitty and Priscilla McCalls. They have some amazing lingerie! I want them all :) October 2, 2011 The Masquerade is about to begin.... let the dance Begin... as there are going to be a few new chapters to this party.. and let the fun commence, the memories be made, and the revenge... oh yesss... endings ... the ball has dropped and now the fun begins!!.. Things have been kind of hectic around here but, no worries.. just have not had time to make all of the changes that I have wanted. Just been too busy! But I want to thank everyone who I have been able to work with recently. More details are to come as they are available. September 23, 2011 This month I have to say has flown by! I had an amazing trip to Myrtle Beach and I am hoping to get in at least one more vacay and a couple of work trips in there before the end of the year. There is never enough time in the day to get all of the projects that you need done completed! Email me for more information! May 9, 2011 With the latest round of severe weather I am hoping to do a little part of help with donation of modeling fees proceeds. I am doing GLITTER TATTOOS for a nominal fee and also donating proceeds from them to the Red Cross. They range from five dollars to fifteen. Thoughts and prayers go out to the ones who have been affected by the rounds and rounds of severe weather. I know with the thought of losing homes and lives is devastating! I recall when I lost my home in the flood just what a sense of loss... that is.. and trying to rebuild. A perfect time to reach to your neighbor and help out. Friends.. who you can count on and who you can trust. I find that in the last month I have found those who I know I can count on and who I can't. Shame. Funny when fate brings your full circle. Things change, people change, and then the world looks different! The past, the present, the future. It is ever changing, ever haunting, and can make you wonder on what you did ... I used to second guess things way to much. And now I think I just go with the flow. Change is always good I know it was not good for George Banks in the movie the Father of the Bride but.. I have made a major change. I was working an admin job that was just a few hours and a crazy schedule. I have since moved on to another opportunity and will be only working 40 hours! a week! Valentine's Day was simply amazing.. and this week I got flowers three days in a row! What more can a girl ask for? January 13, 2011 Calendar notes: changing a few things around as this week has been slammed with weather issues. I am rescheduling shoots, events, and a few things :) so I will try to get some new images up as soon as I get them taken. A little personal note.. I have learned that my favorite photographer has little time to live. He has made such an impression on my life and others. I am just sad to hear that his health is being challenged. I am praying that him and others in that same boat can find hope and maybe a cure. I will anxiously be wanting to hear news. Snow and ice.. Atlanta has been basically crippled due to the recent weather here. I thought that the flood was enough in 09, crazy getting back in to the swing of things in 2010 and now over six inches of ice and snow in 2011! Roads have been impassible. Businesses closed. And really one of the few times that the weathermen have actually nailed this one as to what might happen. All with snow falling on Sunday evening. I have been busy with administrative duties and changing priorities :) so bear with me if I can't get back with you as soon as I can. I was recalling on what drama has gone on this year. I am glad that over t years I have had to let some toxic people go, changed phone numbers, and just tried to keep such a positive attitude. I figure you need that in this society. There is so much negativity.. who needs it? Also ignorance. education is always great as well as never forgetting to learn. learning something new or from your mistakes. I have found great strength from both. Needed new images and that is because!!... December 24, 2010 A little personal note.. I have some amazing family and friends. There have been soo many instances that I needed them this year! It was good for them to be around and also to give me some advice. I appreciate that. Letting go of some people this year was not only necessary but, eliminating drama. Buh bye! Nice to finally trake out the trash and let it go.. they are more trouble than they were worth. Like I need more than I already have? Was great to also find some of the old ones that I was not even sure what happened to them :)! I am very thankful for the presents from fans and friends.., a very special thank you to them tied up with a bow :) what a way to wrap up the ending of the year! Snow? I hear that the Atlanta area might be getting snow for the holidays. I don't mind snow but, I am not thrilled about what it does to the roads and the traffic. Yeeks! it is not that fun to be out and about in.. lessons learned last time the DOT was not able to get out there and sand.. people were stuck on the roads for hours! The south is for the warmer climate right? So we shall see .. crossing my fingers that it will fall and then go away! Holiday stress. I have to say that I have been trying to keep up with everything. That is always not the case. I have two calendars, phones ringing off the hook, and then new opportunities. Looking for that cosmo that would be the perfect end to the day! December 17, 2010 A little personal note.. I was thinking about the last few years. I was reflecting on all that has happened, models that I have helped place ( Some with better results than others - some with no thank you at all :( oh well ..) , countless thank yous, countless new images, new friends, new themes, new parties, finding old friends, cat fights, revenge, gossip, tears, hugs, emails and texts, sales, it has been a amazing few years and this is only again just the beginning. A lot of changes are going to happen in the next few weeks. I am thankful that I have soo many people who are along for the ride. People who now me know that I love getting updated technology. I want to say that I have a new phone. I love it.. It is pink and finally again has a full keyboard.. I can try to text as fast as I can LOL. I had one which was great after the flood - I had gone thru Metro PCS as they had that unlimited plan and with rebuilding the house.. I needed all of the minutes that I could get. But with me trying to make some more vacations and trips I need something that will cover me out of my own state! So if you need the number, please let me know and I can give it to you... only legitimate requests!! The holidays are here and there is never enough time to get things done, I find that I have almost no time to make things happen, get sleep, or make that organization thing happen. There must be a reason that people just have to go to the gym as they have gone nuts with everything over the holidays and the treadmill offers them some sanity. I have tried to be as organized as I can this year .. never to be done as it could.. lets see what I can get on the calendar next?? December 8, 2010 Okay I have to say that I just don't get some people. You try your hardest to be friendly with them and what do they do? Something stupid! I had a girl who was I thought a friend but, of course she blew things up from a molehill to a mountain and made this big production on something trivial. I know that things are stressful without added drama. Like I have time for added anything. Eeek! I of course am always finding out who my real friends are but, there were two instances where I am happy to walk away from headaches of people trying to be true but, under very fake skin. It used to be that friends were friends for life. Thing is how can you take that literally? You might be able to if you have no heart or feelings. I have been know to be crass and sometimes aggressive but, the latest events well.. I just don't have time for them.. they are way immature and we all graduated elementary school years ago. Or at least I thought we did. Should be interesting as this progresses. I might need a drink LOL :P) New ideas.. I have some new ideas that I have been working on and I am psyched to get them rolling for 2011. I know that I have not been able to shoot as much. I have been more into the promotional events, themed parties, and just life :). I figure I might as well try to have one :) I hope to find some amazing bargains on Friday if I am getting up before dawn.. hum might be shopping at midnight? Who knows. Claws back :).. well not claws but, I just got new nails and I have to say that anyone who has gotten pink and white nails has not a clue what they are missing as to getting them more natural. I love them. I was at first skeptical as everyone usually is as we always want the long gorgeous nails. But then they tend to get caught on things, rip into clothes, and just seem to be more maintenance than they ever were meant to be. These are even functional and pretty! Love them! November 21, 2010 The Masquerade is about to begin.... This weekend has flown by! I can't imagine how anyone gets anything done when they actually need about 48 hours in a 24 hour day. I am supposed to have shoots, conference calls, and then appts and trying all of that into a crammed life.. I am strained to make it all work but.. I am going to try. Especially with the holidays coming I know that time is little and fleeting. I had a lot to do and a lot more to get done today. Time to hit the ground running... Wardrobe styling. With a better tan, the haircuts, working on the toning, the new outfits, and the elite parties that are available.. what a better way to end the year. I have some amazing people who are making the look possible! There might not be the professional images up but, the candid ones are making their way around .. stay tuned for the polished and finished product. The other news is that there is some gossip going around.. rumors once again rearing their ugly heads. And with this I know the one who is making that communication to the masses ..she will find that the only friend that she has left.. will be no one.. No one like a liar, a thief, and someone who wanted to be friends with everyone. Tough try. I guess she will have to learn the hard way.. esp when you put my name into it. November 19, 2010 The Masquerade is about to begin.... I have been super busy this week. There have been a lot of events this week. Sheckys.com had their three day event, Bebe had their Girls Night Out event, Alexis' Suitcase had their Spa night. It has been one day rolled into a week LOL. I got some amazing deals, met with some equally amazing friends, and made some more memories for the scrapbook. Wardrobe styling.. working on the fall wardrobe and also redecorating. It has been a lot of fun these past few months.. Busy.. and sometimes I wonder where certain clothes are.... I am sure everyone has that problem here and there... making the most of limited closet space. :) new items to come! And a very special thanks to Audrey for her creations... shhh images soon! In other news I have a family member that is not doing that well. She is in MN and been now in the hospital from a fall. I hate that I am not there but, I also know that I am not that well for situations such as that. I know she will get better. I am constantly checking in and getting updates. Crossing my fingers. November 10, 2010 Open your heart.. I'll make you love me.... The holidays are coming.. they are already noticeable in the stores. All you need is to hear the music to start getting into the mood. what ever happened to this happening after Thanksgiving.. no more .. they are all geared up for Christmas and even Valentine's Day already! I love the holidays.. being with my family, friends, and also getting the most amazing presents. I have to thank everyone who has made this year soo memorable. I have a lot to look back on :) The other thing that I have not been doing as much is shooting. My schedule has been literally nuts.. I have tried to rearrange things but, work, school, and other promotional events that I am involved with take up most of my time. I also try to network and market other companies that I work with .. that also takes time. So bear with me as I know this has to be more simplistic, just not sure when it will be :) Latex! Eyelashes.. if you know me you know my childhood story about not having them and always wanting them.. so now I have gotten them and see images on Facebook! and some of my modeling pages.. they look amazing and I can't believe what a difference that they make! November 8, 2010 Open your heart.. I'll make you love me.... Fluttering of the eyelashes.. it is an art to say the least and I am getting mine done by an expert! Just another thing that I will need some new images with I am sure. I have been trading and changing my glitter tattoos. I love all of the crazy patterns and designs that they come in! New new new :) sounds more like the holidays .. hum what will I be getting? I wonder. I always have the most amazing fans, so I am appreciative of anything that I get. I am amazingly still rebuilding the closet.. and yes it has been some time to get it done.. like you have modeling clothes, work clothes, and regular hanging out clothes. That is a lot to keep up with and get back when you pretty much have lost 3/4 of it. Can be a bit crazy when things land in boxes and bags.. no wonder I might ask for a label maker for the holidays! Yeeks, I have to say I am known to be the avid weather watcher. I have been watching the red boxes crawl across the US and they make me nervous. After being in a few strong and severe storms that have caused damage not only the flooding.. that can make anyone nervous. My hearts out to anyone who has been affected by this latest storm! I am excited to say that there are some new surprises along the way. Some of them have to do with my amazing stylist Angela! October 14, 2010 Making the dream come true.... Rumors. You know they happen and there is always the gossip with the drama. Well for some strange reason I have been caught up in two of them. Not sure even why as I never asked to be a part of the charade or the game. as if I was, I would at least want to know if there were rules or what the parameters would even be. So I challenge these to get silence. Humm.. were these spread for a reason or just to take up space. There is a time to play games, tell that little white lie.. but when it comes to the heart or friends.. I take everything pretty much very seriously. So we shall see where this lands. and someone may need their own parachute :) Crisp air and chills.. fall is here or at least so the calendar says. it has been some time since I have had some new images so I need to get back on the calendar and get some more done.. I know there are some themes out there that I have not done. I will have to shoot my new hair extensions, new glitter tattoos, a new tattoo, and my minx nails and toes. Just a few things that I have lined up for the next three months. Cramming everything in.. well let's see what I can accomplish! Latex! October 6, 2010 Making the dream come true.... Devine. Okay when you look around you and see what is going on.. do you sometimes just shake you head and wonder? I do at times. Just from the conversations or less there of that happen.. you watch the actions transpire. I know there is soo much more to life after last year. I know who my friends are. I know who to trust. I know also how to play the game.. and I never play to lose... always play to win. When in heels you travel with style. The higher the better. They kick, they walk, the stroll with grace. Much like a song. I love the heels that I have and wanting some killer boots for the fall. If you see a pair that you think I may like? Send me the link... or just send them to me LOL :). I know my high kick rocks :). Fall - the leaves fall off and hit the ground, quite the visual. And when the people who need to fall do.. or you make them fall.. interesting. September 26, 2010 Stronger and much better.... Inventory and some fall cleaning. There is something always to be said for making something organized. I am in love with post its, containers, and of course hat boxes. With last year I find that things seem to be all over the place. I try to get things somewhat more in line ~ that sometimes works. Sometimes it does not. But in the meantime I find that I get to try new things. put some things in storage and of course make more room for new things. Reflection. It has been raining all day. I hate it. I have never really been worried about the rain. But.. with what happened last year and when they mention inches of rain that worries me! So with that in mind, I am the avid radar watcher. Used to be for more severe weather, who could have thought I would now have to watch it for flooding rain! Beach towels and shot glasses.. if you are around and see one.. I know I am in need of a few more to bring back my collection so please send them on, I would greatly appreciate it! Latex? I probably will be shooting in this sooner or later :) depends of course on my crazy schedule. September 21, 2010 It is soo on!! ?... One year ago at around six in the am, my world got turned upside down. When you look at all of the damage and all of the things that people went thought you honestly wonder how you made it through. it was a nightmare that was a surreal reality. You realized that trying to save things and figure out where things were had to made in split decisions. Seconds not minutes meant finding or losing the most important things. I found that I have some amazing core of friends. They were there and have been there for me. they have laughed with me through all off this and helped me regain my bearings. I regained some faith that survival is possible. Life does go on.. and that a SALE is always a good thing :). A very special shout out to my coworkers who were there for me. They know who they were.. and how much they mean to me. Something new.. getting some changes done esp with the new do :P).. that will be coming in the next week.
